Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 2, 2026

Welcome. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QueryForge - Intelligent Enterprise Research application, website, and related support services (collectively, the "Service"). By checking the agreement box, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the corporate entity you represent.

1. Account Registration & Corporate Use

  • Business Accounts Only: The Service is strictly for business-to-business (B2B) use. You must register using a verifiable corporate email address. We reserve the right to suspend accounts created with personal or disposable email domains.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your workspace.

2. The Service & AI Functionality

  • BYO-Key Architecture: We provide the orchestration platform. You are solely responsible for provisioning, securing, and paying for your own API keys from third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, Google) or maintaining your own local LLM infrastructure.
  • Service Uptime: We strive for maximum reliability, but the Service is provided "as is." We are not responsible for latency, downtime, or rate-limiting caused by your chosen third-party AI providers.

3. Data Ownership & Security

  • Your Data: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all data, prompts, and context payloads transmitted through the Service.
  • No Global Training: We do not use your private enterprise data, incident records, or usage logs to train general foundation models.
  • Infrastructure Boundaries: The application operates as a scoped application respecting your existing platform access control lists (ACLs).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass the security mechanisms of the Service.
  • Transmit sensitive cardholder data (PCI) or protected health information (PHI) unless explicitly supported by your specific deployment configuration and chosen AI provider.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the Service or the output generated by third-party AI models.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
